Jesus Will Return | Are You Ready?

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

In the Bible, the Sinner's prayer isn't mentioned, but is only implied. The basis of the Sinner's Prayer comes from Romans 10:9-10. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

The Bible warns us that Jesus will return like a Thief in the Night:
1 Thessalonian 5:1-3 (New International Version):
1 Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

You see, it is written that no one knows the day or the time that our Lord Jesus will come back to take up His Church. Wouldn't you want you and your loved ones to be ready? Jesus loves you so much and will be WAITING FOR YOU WITH OPEN ARMS, if you would just be willing to set aside your skepticism and pride and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Jesus died on the cross so that each and every person would have an opportunity to get right with God and spend eternity in heaven with Him. Do you know what The Rapture is? Christ coming back to take up His Church is mentioned in the Bible a few times. I sincerely believe that before the rest of the world sees Jesus coming down on a cloud, his followers will be taken up with him even before that. Even though the word "Rapture" is not used in the Bible, it describes what will actually take place. Here is the dictionary's definition of the word RAPTURE:

* The carrying of a person to another place or sphere of existence.
* The Rapture, Theology. the experience, anticipated by some fundamentalist Christians, of meeting Christ midway in the air upon his return to earth.
* Archaic. the act of carrying off
